Job summary

Silverado is seeking caring, compassionate caregivers to support residents with Alzheimer’s and memory challenges. This part-time, NOC shift role emphasizes empathy, reliability, and teamwork in a memory care environment.

You will assist with daily living activities, build meaningful relationships, and document care notes for the nursing team. Training is provided and benefits are offered for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred.
• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions (preferred but not required).
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English.
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.).
• Comfortable working around animals and pets.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, dining, etc.).
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
• Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment.
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team.
