Job summary

Silverado in Bellingham is seeking compassionate caregivers to support residents with memory impairments, including Alzheimer’s and dementia. The role blends empathy, reliability, and relationship-building to create meaningful moments daily.

You will provide hands-on care, document changes, and work with the nursing team in a safety-focused, respectful environment. The position is full-time with PM shifts and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other memory-related conditions preferred.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English.
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working around animals and pets.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, dining, etc.).

• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team.
