Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living in San Jose seeks a dedicated Caregiver Memory Care to join our Assisted Living and Memory Care community. You will provide hands-on care to a group of seniors, focusing on empathy, safety, and hospitality. The role suits reliable individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, physically active environment.

Experience as a caregiver is valued; CNAs are welcome though not required. This is a full-time daytime role with opportunities for ongoing education and growth within

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• English communication in verbal and written form required.
• Experience as a primary caregiver or relevant caregiving training preferred.
• Attendance reliability is essential for all Belmont Village employees.
• Post-offer screenings (background check, drug screening, TB test) may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living to an assigned group of senior residents in our Assisted Living and Memory Care community.
• Promote socialization and participation in activities while prioritizing resident safety and well-being.
• Document and maintain accurate records of daily care and promptly report changes to supervisors.
• Uphold high standards of care, safety, cleanliness and regulatory compliance.
• Provide hands-on assistance with toileting, hygiene and incontinence care as needed.
• Make hospitality and resident satisfaction top priorities in every interaction.
