Silverado The Huntington in California is seeking Caregivers to provide compassionate, hands-on support for residents living with Alzheimer’s and memory-related conditions. This role emphasizes empathy, reliability, and relationship-building within a team focused on dignity and joy.

You will assist with daily living activities, build relationships with residents and families, and document care in accurate records, while maintaining safety and respect in a memory-care setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s or dementia preferred.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working around animals.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, dining, etc.).
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
• Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment.
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team.
