Job summary

Silverado The Huntington is a memory care leader in California, seeking Caregivers to support residents with Alzheimer's and dementia. You will provide hands-on care, build relationships with residents and families, and report changes to the nursing team in a supportive, team-focused setting.

The role offers a full-time AM shift (4 days on / 2 days off) and a pay range of $17–$18 per hour, with benefits such as health/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) matching, FSA, PTO, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer's, dementia or memory impairments preferred.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, dining, etc).
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
• Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment.
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team.
