Job summary

Meadowbrook Village Christian Retirement Community in Escondido, CA is hiring caregivers for memory care. The Day Shift, 7am to 3pm, provides ADL assistance, light housekeeping, meals escort, medication management, and other assisted living tasks in a 24/7 memory care unit.

Qualifications

• Pass a criminal background check (required for all employees).
• Be responsible and self-motivated to work independently but also cooperative and encouraging as part of a team.
• Have a genuine caring attitude for providing service to seniors who struggle with memory loss.
• Speak professionally and compassionately with families dealing with memory loss.
• Demonstrate reliability and follow-through.
• Pay attention to details and correctly follow instructions to provide consistent care.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and light housekeeping.
• Escort to meals, serve meals, manage medications, and support memory care residents.
