Job summary

Peregrine Senior Living is seeking a Resident Care Aide/Medication Assistant in the Albany region. The full-time role runs 7am–3pm with a $16.00–$18.00 hourly wage based on experience, plus shift differential for evenings, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities include assisting memory-impaired residents with daily tasks, maintaining care records, and reporting changes to supervisors. CNA/HHA/PCA certifications are preferred, with strong compassion for the elderly.

Qualifications

• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Ability to maintain residents’ dignity and independence.
• Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist memory-impaired residents with bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Ensure compliance with residents’ rights regulations.
• Maintain and document proper care records.
• Report changes in residents’ condition to the supervisor promptly.
• Encourage participation in community activities.
