Job summary

The Waterford at Creekside in Pensacola, FL is seeking a Memory Care Aid to join our caregiving team. You will perform CNA duties, monitor residents, assist with daily activities, and help ensure comfort and safety for memory care residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs CNA duties in accordance with resident care standards, including monitoring vital signs.
• Assists with dressing, grooming, bathing, transfers and daily activities.
• Provides personal laundry and follows charting procedures for resident care items.

Memory Care Aid Responsibilities:

• Performs CNA duties in accordance with accepted standards of resident care. Duties may include measuring height and
  weight and vital signs.
• Performs assist duties in accordance with accepted standards of resident care. Duties may include assists with dressing, grooming, bathing, escorts and transfers
• Provide stand by assistance for all personal care for residents, including bathing, showering, shampooing, oral hygiene,
  skin care, hair care, nail care, dressing, shaving, toileting, transferring, ambulating, and transporting.
• Provides residents with personal laundry.
• Follows proper charting procedures for resident care items.

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• State certification/registration or graduation if from a state approved nursing assistant training program required.
• Preferred knowledge and experience in nursing.
• CPR certified and/or first aid certified depending on state requirements
