Job summary

The Wealshire is seeking a Part Time Activity Assistant/Life Enrichment Aide at our Medina Community. Base pay ranges from $20 to $22 per hour, depending on experience, with shift options 8:00am–4:30pm or 11:30am–8:00pm.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent; 1+ year of experience as an Activity Assistant is preferred, with memory care experience a plus. Musical or artistic abilities are a bonus. Must be able to work every other weekend and holiday.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
• 1+ year of experience as an Activity Assistant preferred.
• Experience in Long-Term Care and Memory Care preferred.
• Musical or Artistic abilities are a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead resident group activities of varying sizes (small, medium, large).
• Prepare rooms, equipment, and supplies prior to each program and clean up afterward.
• Conduct one-to-one programs for residents who are low functioning.
• Maintain and clean bird aviaries as directed by Life Enrichment Director.
• Keep supplies and equipment neat and stored properly.
• Assist and help feed residents at meal times as needed.
