The Wealshire invites applications for a Part Time Activity Assistant/Life Enrichment Aide at the Medina Community. The role supports memory-care residents with engaging activities and programs that enrich daily living.

Base pay is $20-22 per hour, hours are 11:30am-8:00pm, and you must be able to work every other weekend and every other holiday. Join a compassionate care team and share your talent to brighten residents’ days.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
• 1+ year of experience as an Activity Assistant, preferred.
• Experience in Long-Term Care and Memory Care, preferred.
• Musical or Artistic abilities is a PLUS, but not required.
• Assist the Director of Life Enrichment by leading group activities.
• Prepare rooms, equipment, and supplies prior to each program.
• Work with residents who are low functioning via one-to-one activities.

Responsabilidades

• Lead small, medium, and large resident group activities.
• Prepare rooms, equipment and supplies for programs.
• One-to-one activities for residents as needed.
• Clean and take care of bird aviaries on Tuesday and Saturday.
• Keep supplies neat and organized; assist with meals.
