Ivy Living in San Francisco is seeking an Activity Coordinator for Memory Care on a part-time basis. You will support the Memory Care Director in providing engaging social activities across the Traditions area and promote participation through a variety of events and programs.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, a high school diploma, and a valid Class C driver license to transport residents. Proficiency in MS Office and a commitment to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prefer 1 year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors
• Requires current Class C driver license to transport residents
• Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs Word Excel Publisher PowerPoint etc

Responsibilities

• Assist the Memory Care Director in providing an interesting, creative and rewarding social atmosphere throughout the secured Traditions area
• Promote resident participation through regularly scheduled activities, excursions, events, guest speakers, movies, exercise sessions, clubs, games, and educational classes
• Communicate effectively and display tact and friendliness with residents, families, visitors, coworkers and supervisors
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following established safety standards
• Able to drive Community vehicles
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with coworkers and other departments
