Job summary

Mustang Creek Estates is seeking an Activity Assistant to support the Activity Director in planning and implementing daily activity programs for memory care residents at our Allen, TX community.

The role focuses on cognitive, physical, and social well-being through three to four daily activities, with calendar creation, event coordination, transportation planning, and ongoing program evaluation. Dementia experience preferred but not required, and weekend coverage may be needed.

Qualifications

• Must have experience with assisted living or memory care activities.
• Experience with dementia residents preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement three to four activities per day.
• Create the monthly activity calendar with proper approvals.
• Coordinate large, small, and one-to-one events for engagement and stimulation.
• Inform residents and staff of schedule changes in a timely manner.
• Arrange transportation for events.
• Escort residents to and from activities.
• Evaluate programming quality and participation via surveys and direct interactions with residents and families.
