Ivy Living is seeking an Activity Coordinator for the Memory Care program at Ivy Park at Escondido. You will organize and lead engaging activities and excursions designed to promote independence and quality of life for residents in a senior living setting.

Based in Escondido, CA, the role requires coordinating with the Memory Care Director, delivering a creative social calendar, and ensuring safety and engagement for residents. Competitive benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prefer one year of experience coordinating activities with seniors
• Requires current Class C driver license, Class B preferred to transport residents
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint)
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety protocols including PPE and screenings

Responsibilities

• Assist Memory Care Director in providing a creative and rewarding social atmosphere in the Traditions area.
• Promote resident participation through regularly scheduled activities, excursions, events, guest speakers, and classes.
• Communicate with residents, families, visitors, coworkers, and supervisors with tact and friendliness.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following established safety standards.
• Able to drive Community vehicles and support transportation as needed.
• Encourage teamwork across departments and with staff
