Job summary

Oxford Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Langhorne, PA, is seeking a part-time Memory Care Activity Coordinator to lead specialized programs for residents with memory impairment. The role involves developing cognitive and social activities, coordinating care plans, and guiding a compassionate team of caregivers.

The position offers evening hours (Mon-Fri, 6:00pm–8:30pm) with Daily Pay and a pay range of $13–$15 per hour.

Qualifications

• Active CTRS certification in PA is required.
• Prior recreation or activities experience in a nursing home or Memory Care setting is preferred.
• Ability to communicate with residents, families, staff, and visitors with tact.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Passion for working with seniors and dementia care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee development of unit objectives, policies, and procedures for the Memory Care program.
• Prepare and present records and reports to the Executive Director regarding budgets, progress, and goals.
• Conduct admissions and discharge assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Develop and implement engaging daily programming to support residents’ cognitive, emotional, physical, and social well‑being.
• Collaborate with staff, residents, and families to ensure open communication and personalized care experiences.
• Pursue continuing education in dementia care to enhance program quality.
• Lead, motivate, and support a team of caregivers to deliver exceptional resident experiences.
• Maintain a therapeutic, structured environment promoting dignity and quality of life.

Responsibilities for Memory Care Activity Coordinator:

Qualifications for Memory Care Activity Coordinator:

• An active CTRS certification in the state of PA is required.

• Prior recreation or activities experience in a nursing home or Memory Care setting preferred.

• Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age‑related needs of residents served.

• Ability to communicate and interact tactfully with residents, family members, staff, visitors, government agencies, and the public.

• Strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

• Passion for working with seniors and supporting individuals living with dementia and memory‑related conditions.
