Job summary

The Waters is seeking an Activities Coordinator to lead and support resident engagement through varied activities, including bus driving as part of a 20-hour weekly schedule. Responsibilities span planning, coordinating, and facilitating enjoyable, meaningful programs on-site.

Hours include Mondays 12PM–4PM, Fridays 9AM–1PM, with bus driving on Mondays 8:30AM–12PM and every-other-Saturday shifts. The role emphasizes caring, teamwork, and a commitment to resident thriving.

Qualifications

• Love of seniors and passion for enhancing lives through meaningful interactions.
• Demonstrated enthusiasm and positive rapport with residents, team members, and families.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as appropriate.
• Previous experience with seniors and/or memory care, recreational therapy, education, hospitality, or related areas preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute activities that help residents thrive; examples include exercise classes, creative arts, culinary creations, social interactions, and off-site excursions.
• Assist residents with activities of their choice, including group activities and personal engagements.
