Job summary

American Senior Communities is seeking a Memory Care Activity Assistant at Washington Healthcare Center in Indianapolis to enrich residents' lives through supportive, engaging activities and a warm, caring presence.

You will design and lead age-appropriate activities, monitor residents' well-being, and work with the care team to ensure a dignified, comforting daily experience for those with memory impairment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to residents, families, customers and staff: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships and Excellence.
• State-approved Nursing Assistant training or CNA program completion (community training acceptable).
• GED or high school diploma required; related experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Engage residents with compassionate, age-appropriate activities.
• Create engaging activities that accommodate varying cognitive and physical abilities.
• Collaborate closely with the care team to support residents holistically.
