Job summary

The Birches Assisted Living is seeking an Activities Assistant / Enrichment Coordinator for the memory care neighborhood, Encore. This full-time role schedules 8:30AM–4:30PM, Mon-Fri, with a focus on meaningful activities for residents living with memory loss.

You will implement programs that support intellectual, spiritual, social, and physical well-being while engaging residents and their families in a warm, creative environment. A high school diploma and valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• On-the-job training provided.
• Driver's license required to drive bus.
• Experience in senior-living or memory care preferred.
• Experience as Activities Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement programming that supports successful aging for memory care residents.
• Build and support meaningful relationships with residents and families.
• Create and execute activities that support intellectual, spiritual, social, and physical abilities.
• Foster a fun, positive, creative, and inspirational atmosphere for residents and team members.
