Immanuel Communities is seeking a Memory Care Activities Coordinator for Pacific Springs in Omaha, NE. You will develop engaging programs and lead events to enrich residents' minds, bodies, and spirits, while training staff in dementia-specific activities.

Qualifications

• One year of post-high school education required.
• One year of experience with individuals with dementia or memory challenges required.
• One year of experience facilitating activities in Sr. Living or similar setting required.

What You Will Do

The overall purpose of this job is to provide opportunities for Memory Support residents to participate in programs to enhance their lives in the areas of mind, body and spirit. The responsibilities of this job include planning, developing, marketing, and implementing events, programs, and activities. Provides support and training to staff involved in dementia-specific programming.

Skills & Requirements

• One (1) year of post-high school education is required.
• One (1) year of experience working with individuals with dementia or memory related challenges is required.
• One (1) year of experience facilitating or implementing activities in Sr. Living or related experience is required.
• Previous experience training team members or groups of individuals.
• Equivalent years of education may substitute for experience requirement.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
