Job summary

The Waters in Minnesota is seeking an Activities Coordinator to develop and implement engaging programs for residents in our Petals Memory Care Program. You will lead activities that promote joy, social connections, and life fulfillment through exercise, arts, culinary projects, and meaningful interactions.

Ideal candidates love seniors, build rapport with residents and families, and have experience in memory care, recreation, education, or hospitality.

Qualifications

• A love of seniors and passion for enhancing lives through meaningful interactions.
• Demonstrated enthusiasm and positive rapport with residents, team members, and families.
• Previous experience working with seniors and/or experience in memory care, recreational therapy, education, hospitality, or related areas preferred.
• The ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings and weekends, as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Play a meaningful role in developing and executing activities which help our residents thrive. Some examples of activities include exercise classes, creative arts, culinary creations, social interactions, personal engagements, off-site excursions, etc.
• Assist residents with activities of their choice which may include group activities and/or personal engagements
