Job summary

Shalom West, a Memory Care community, seeks a Life Enrichment Assistant to support activity planning and resident engagement. You will help implement programs, coordinate events, and assist with transportation as needed to promote quality of life.

The role is part-time (Fri-Sat-Sun, 10:00 AM–6:30 PM) with benefits potential and a focus on person-centered care and safety in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and at least three years of related experience.
• First aid certification required; CDL may be required within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English; basic math and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Assist Life Enrichment Director with planning, implementing, and monitoring wellness and recreation programs.
• Provide programs and events that encourage engagement and socialization for residents.
• Coordinate Ambassadors Club, resident council, and food council meetings.
• Prepare and distribute monthly activities calendars; inform residents of daily activities.
