Job summary

A unique social club in Tribeca is seeking an experienced and extroverted individual to help build a vibrant membership community. The role involves hosting events, recruiting new members, and developing systems for fostering friendships within the club. Candidates should be willing to work in person at least five nights a week and possess excellent organizational and multitasking skills. This full-time position offers a complete benefits package including PTO.

Job description

Maxwell is looking for a experienced, extremely extroverted and entrepreneurial hustler who wants to help build out a unique membership at a one of a kind social club in Tribeca.

Location: In person, NYC

Key Responsibilities

• Recruitment: Attend events at Maxwell and meet prospective new members, interview them make introductions and figure out if potential new members are a good fit.
• Hosting: Host recruitment events, act as a host at existing members events, introduce members to each other and be the point person for all potential new member requests.
• Build strategic membership systems: Figure out what matters to help build real friendship in physical space, how to systematize it and figure out how to scale it past our first location.

This position requires being in the space minimum 5 nights a week and cannot be done remote.

What's Maxwell? We're rebuilding our country's fraternal orgs. Organizations like Rotarians, Kiwanis, Italian American Clubs and more used to be tentpoles of our local communities, but now do not appeal to anyone under 60. Maxwell is building a vertically integrated community hospitality company to build and operate 1,000 social clubs in the next 20 years.
