Job summary

Visit Anchorage, a 501(c)6 nonprofit, seeks a Member Services Manager to recruit and retain members, sell visitor-facing advertising in all forms, and envision, plan, and host travel industry events in Anchorage. You will support local advocacy and community relations by energizing private industry around shared initiatives important to the industry and community.

• Exceptional customer service and face-to-face communication with diverse groups.
• Excellent written communication for emails, collateral, and distribution to stakeholders.
• Detail oriented to maximize membership value and participation in events and opportunities.
• Ability to secure cash and in-kind sponsorships and promote attendance at Visit Anchorage events.
• Ability to build relationships with business leaders.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Commitment to Visit Anchorage’s mission and vision.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general digital tools.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and seek supervision when needed.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends for events.
