Brookgreen Gardens is seeking a Manager of Membership and Annual Giving to oversee membership and annual giving programs at its Murrells Inlet, SC location.

The role focuses on increasing membership, expanding donor engagement, and growing revenue through multi-channel campaigns, events, and data-driven fundraising strategies. A nonprofit mindset and strong communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years in membership, fundraising, sales, or account management; nonprofit experience a plus.
• Ability to analyze data to drive engagement and revenue decisions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge 7 or comparable donor database software strongly preferred.
• Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Genuine enthusiasm for connecting with people individually and in group settings.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines.
• High level of professionalism when working with Brookgreen stakeholders and handling confidential information.
• Flexibility for occasional evening and weekend hours for events.

Responsibilities

• Manage membership and annual giving programs to grow membership and strengthen annual fund support.
• Plan and execute multi-channel acquisition and renewal campaigns and coordinate communications.
• Plan and execute member events and engagement opportunities.
• Manage Membership Ambassador Program, including training and policies.
• Oversee data reporting, analytics, and CRM data integrity.
• Develop operational procedures for daily membership program operations.
