Job summary

Brookgreen Gardens in Murrells Inlet, SC is seeking a part-time Membership Services Coordinator to deliver exceptional member service, manage renewals and benefits, and assist with events and outreach. This on-site role supports the membership program and volunteer engagements.

Two to three years in customer service or nonprofit settings is preferred, with proficiency in MS Office, Teams, and CRM software. Evening/weekend availability may be required as events occur.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of experience in customer service, nonprofit administration, hospitality, sales, or related field.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Teams, and CRM software.
• Exceptional customer service and proactive problem-solving with strong attention to detail and communication.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage changing priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work occasional evening and weekend hours for events.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the membership fulfillment process for all members, including corporate, volunteer, and employee memberships.
• Support event coordination, including plans, follow-up communication, and vendor contact.
• Develop content for newsletters, invitations, fliers, and acknowledgments.
• Provide backup support for membership and donation transactions, including sales, renewals, upgrades, and gift memberships.
• Maintain organized and confidential member files and update contact information.
• Coordinate scheduling and training for volunteer Membership Ambassadors.
• Coordinate complimentary memberships, gift memberships, and membership giveaways.
