Job summary

Growth Energy is seeking a Director of Membership to lead recruitment, retention, engagement, and revenue initiatives for the association. The hybrid role in Sioux Falls, SD, drives member value and oversees relationship management with ethanol plants, industry allies, and key stakeholders.

Lead efforts to expand membership, ensure timely invoicing, and maintain CRM data integrity, while representing the organization at industry events and supporting public affairs engagement on major policy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; seven or more years in business, sales, marketing, or related field.
• Proven success in sales and project management.
• Knowledge of biofuel industry or proven ability to learn industries quickly.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement annual membership recruitment strategies and goals; identify, cultivate, and convert prospective members; build strong relationships with existing members and key stakeholders.
• Serve as the lead staff at industry events, including trade shows and conferences; secure sponsorship sales for the organization’s key annual events.
• Support in recruiting member participants for DC or state-based fly-ins and public affairs engagement around key issues.
