Job summary

Girl Scouts Nation’s Capital is seeking a Membership Recruitment Specialist in Manassas, VA to grow youth and adult membership through targeted outreach and events.

You will build relationships with schools and community groups, host information nights, and lead volunteer recruitment while tracking progress in Salesforce. The role requires a flexible schedule including many afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to host interactive programs for youth and adults.
• Willingness to work afternoons, nights and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Bilingual skills are a plus (Spanish, Farsi, Arabic, Hindi, Urdu, Bengali, or Korean).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual recruitment strategies to meet membership goals for youth and adults.
• Build relationships with schools, community organizations, and local businesses.
• Plan and host events to recruit and welcome new members.
• Generate and manage leads using Salesforce, tracking outreach and results.
• Collaborate with council-wide campaigns and prioritize accessibility for all communities.
