Position Summary

This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening the community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Member & Guest Services team maintains a supportive, positive atmosphere that welcomes and respects all individuals. The Member & Guest Services team responds to member and guest needs and promotes memberships and programs.

Essential Functions

• Adhere to policies related to boundaries with consumers.
• Complete required abuse risk management training.
• Report suspicious or inappropriate behaviors and policy violations.
• Follow mandated abuse reporting requirements.
• Adhere to job‑specific abuse risk management responsibilities.
• Ensure check‑in procedures are followed.
• Provide excellent customer service in person and on the phone with members, guests, and program participants.
• Perform in a member‑focused culture and communicate with members and guests.
• Promote program and membership enrollment in interactions with existing and potential members.
• Process sales and properly handle cash, check, and credit card payments.
• Ensure proper implementation of front desk procedures.
• Provide quality cause‑driven tours to prospective members.
• Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and the lobby.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

This position requires a minimum of two weekday shifts per week and a minimum of two weekend shifts per month. Early morning openings, evenings, and weekend shifts may be included.
