Job summary

London Bay, a luxury homebuilder and developer with over 35 years of experience, is seeking an experienced Membership Director to join our growing team in Florida. You will own the membership sales plan, guide prospects from tours to joining, and lead tours of golf, marina, dining, spa and preserve amenities.

London Bay, a luxury homebuilder and developer with over 35 years of experience, is currently recruiting for an experienced Membership Director to join our growing team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Membership growth and sales

• Own the membership sales plan: targets, categories, pricing input and the waitlist.
• Guide prospects and new residents from first tour through joining, alongside the London Bay residential sales team.
• Lead tours and introductions to the golf, marina, dining, spa and preserve amenities.
• Track leads, conversions, retention and resignations, and report results to leadership.

Member relationships and retention

• Serve as the main point of contact for members and their families, from onboarding through renewal.
• Know members personally and respond quickly to their needs, concerns and feedback.
• Run new-member orientation and integration so every member feels connected in their first year.

Engagement and programming

• Build a calendar of member events, social groups, leagues and family programs that drive participation.
• Work with Golf, Marina, Food & Beverage and Spa to give members one consistent experience.
• Measure participation and adjust programs to what members use.

Communication and governance

• Produce member communications: newsletters, announcements, welcome materials and the member directory.
• Support membership committees and help shape and apply membership policies.
• Partner with the General Manager and senior leadership on member-experience strategy.

Team leadership

• Hire, train and lead the membership and member-services team.
• Set service standards that match the Ritz-Carlton Residences brand.

Other related duties as requested and assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

High School Diploma or GED required; A Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field a plus. .

Mandatory Experience/Background:

Ten or more years experience of leadership in premier private or member-owned clubs, with direct, daily contact with members. A record of membership growth, such as moving a club to a fully private model or building a waitlist. A record of raising member participation through events, leagues, group play and programs. Experience working with General Managers, department heads, boards and committees. Experience recruiting, training and developing professional and service teams.

Desired Experience/Qualifications:

Luxury hospitality, private club, golf, resort, or high-end residential operation s; Private-club experience in Southwest Florida, ideally Naples or Bonita Springs. Experience in a member-facing department head role (such as Director of Golf) at a club of 500+ memberships. Experience opening a club, launching a membership or bringing stability after leadership turnover. Professional credentials such as PGA of America or CMAA membership. Familiarity with club CRM and membership software.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift 20 pounds; able to sit or stand for long periods of time. Flexibility to work flexible schedule and Saturdays for events, and owner/member experiences is required.
