Job summary

Moda Health is hiring for an on-site Portland, Oregon data entry and enrollment specialist. You will maintain member eligibility, process enrollments, and generate ID cards for Moda Health and BHS lines of business, including COBRA and TPA accounts. This role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and timely customer service.

Requires a high school diploma, 3+ years in a fast-paced data entry environment, and proficiency with Excel/Word. On-site with a strong emphasis on teamwork and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in fast paced environment with data entry, customer service, enrollment, billing and reconciliation.
• Experience with Facets preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Ten key proficiency of 135 kpm on a keypad preferred.
• Typing proficiency 25 wpm preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Handle eligibility and enrollment processing daily via multiple input methods.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of enrollments per product and line of business.
• Follow delinquency policies to ensure compliant and timely payments.
• Reconcile member, premium and admin fees monthly.
• Maintain confidentiality of member and employer data.
• Identify and solve problems; take initiative as needed.
• Respond to inquiries about enrollments and ID cards; support Sales teams.
• Log and track enrollment applications and generate monthly reports.
