Job summary

Gompers in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Driver/Float in the Transportation department to provide safe, reliable transportation for members and support other programs as needed. This full-time, non-exempt position requires a high school diploma, a valid Arizona driver's license with a clean MVR, and required safety certifications.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Bilingual abilities and/or sign language are a plus.
• CPR, First Aid, Article 9 and Member Intervention Training required or provided.
• Arizona Driver’s License and clean 39-month MVR are required.

Responsibilities

• Transport members safely to and from programs and other locations.
• Maintain transport and program documentation and vehicle cleanliness.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report safety concerns.
• Follow emergency procedures and participate in training.
• Assist with mobility and entering/exiting vehicles as needed.
• Uphold dignity, privacy, rights, and confidentiality of members.
