Job summary

Lantern is seeking a dedicated Member Success Advocate in Dallas, TX. The role focuses on guiding members through the surgical process with empathy, urgency, and measurable performance outcomes.

You will educate members on benefits, coordinate travel and appointments, and help them choose providers with confidence. Strong written and verbal communication, teamwork, and problem-solving are essential for success.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years' experience in a customer service, service center, and/or sales enablement role — bonus points if you've thrived in a metrics-driven environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, while holding yourself to a high personal standard

Responsibilities

  • Engage and educate members on our surgery offering, making sure every benefit is clearly understood — informed members are confident members
  • Coordinate appointments and travel, including venue selection, so members feel taken care of at every step
  • Guide members through provider selection with care and urgency, helping them decide with confidence
  • Follow up, resolve, and document issues, routing escalations to the right team — the same quality and speed members feel is what drives your monthly bonus
  • Handle highly sensitive information with the trust and PHI compliance every member deserves

Education

Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, social services, public health, or related field
High school diploma

Job description

As a Member Success Advocate, you'll guide members through the surgical process with empathy and urgency, and your impact is measured against clear performance metrics (speed, quality, member satisfaction). This is a fast-paced role for people who take pride in doing right by every member, and want that excellence recognized.

Compensation:

Starting at $20.00–$24.00/hour based on experience, + competitive monthly bonus program rewarding top performance — our best Member Success Advocates earn up to an additional $1,200/month.

Shift Schedules:
  • 6-week onsite training program, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM (paid at your regular rate)
  • After training, you'll be assigned a 9-hour shift within a 7 AM–8 PM window

This is a 100% onsite position.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, social services, public health, or related field preferred
  • 1–3 years' experience in a customer service, service center, and/or sales enablement role — bonus points if you've thrived in a metrics-driven environment
  • A proven, sustained track record of meeting or exceeding performance goals, paired with genuine care for the people you're helping
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, while holding yourself to a high personal standard
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, especially under pressure
  • Ability to organize work activities and manage a high volume of member interactions without letting quality slip
