Job summary

Members First Credit Union seeks a Member Solutions Specialist in Pensacola, FL to proactively engage with members on past-due accounts and negotiate payment arrangements, aiming to minimize losses while preserving dignity.

In this full-time role, you will follow up through calls, letters, and in-person conversations, research loan and credit card statuses, and collaborate with the Loss Prevention Manager on collection initiatives. Bondable and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of collection concepts and credit union products.
• Must communicate clearly, verbally and in writing; bondable.
• Proficient with Windows and Microsoft Office; able to handle sensitive matters.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate payment arrangements with members for consumer loans and negative shares.
• Record account details and collection efforts accurately.
• Prepare collection letters for delinquent accounts.
• Research records, make collection calls, and collect delinquent accounts.
• Post payments and process two-party checks.
• Locate members via skip-tracing to contact and locate assets.
• Suggest loan modifications or deferments.
• Prioritize workload to meet monthly goals.
• Stay informed on products and competitive offerings.
