Job summary

My Community Credit Union in Odessa, TX is seeking a Teller I to assist members with daily financial transactions, deposits, withdrawals, and transfers. You’ll maintain accuracy, security, and balanced cash drawers while supporting branch operations.

You will also educate members on online banking, mobile app features, and e‑statements, and identify opportunities to refer or cross‑sell relevant products and services.

Qualifications

• Up to six months of teller, cash‑handling, or similar customer service experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Professional communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to use computers, keyboards, and banking systems efficiently
• Dependable attendance and flexibility to work all branch operating hours

Responsibilities

• Assist members with deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and account transfers
• Maintain a balanced cash drawer and ensure accuracy
• Educate members on online banking, mobile app features, Bill Pay, remote deposit capture, and e‑statements
• Refer or cross‑sell services aligned with member needs
