The role requires a High School diploma and at least six months of retail teller experience; strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, are essential. We value teamwork, reliability, and community service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Six months retail teller or retail experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle high volume of transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Must have basic computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Receives and handles deposits of all types, ensuring the proper endorsement on negotiable instruments within these deposits.
• Greet and welcome members and visitors to the credit union in a professional manner. Provide prompt, efficient, and accurate service in the processing of transactions.
• Adheres at all times to the policy procedures and cash handling guidelines.
• Comply with all federal regulations, credit union policies and procedures, including Bank Secrecy and the USA Patriot Act.
• Issues official checks and handles the disbursement of cash withdrawals.
• Processes Visa payments and cash advances.
• Balances cash drawers daily within the cash balancing standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
