Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–24 months of customer service and/or cash handling experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word & Excel).
• Detail oriented and able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver consistently superior customer service.
• Recent cash handling or teller experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Symitar system a plus.
• Must be flexible to work out of any location, as business needs dictate.
• Must consistently report to work on time, as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Assist members with financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, negotiable instruments, cash advances, stop payments, address changes, and wire transfers
• Provide timely and courteous member service by servicing or closing accounts and completing related documentation
• Issue/re-pin cards and add or update joint owners and beneficiaries
• Respond to member inquiries in person, by telephone, or by mail
• Resolve routine issues and direct complex issues to appropriate management staff
• Participate in assigned employee development programs
• Balance daily work
• Perform operational activities in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Credit Union policies and procedures
• Perform routine office and clerical duties, including requisitioning supplies and maintaining accurate files
• Maintain cash drawer within assigned limits and policies
• Perform other assigned duties
