Job summary

You will balance cash drawers daily, handle deposits and transfers, process mail, and support sales goals while adhering to BSA/CIP regulations and privacy policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum six months of cash handling experience in a customer service environment.
• Proficiency with 10-key adding machine, online computer system, and typewriter (min typing speed 40 wpm).
• Excellent collaborative skills and ability to maintain positive working relationships.
• Knowledge of confidentiality, security, and professional conduct per Credit Union policy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and balance a cash drawer daily.
• Accept deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, payoffs, VISA cash advances, and process mail daily.
• Process stop payments.
• Provide members with information on account status, including balances and payoff amounts.
• Respond to member requests and problems, directing to the proper person as needed.
• Provide general information about Credit Union services, membership eligibility, and rates.
• Promote and cross-sell Credit Union products and services.
• Issue and encode ATM cards.
• Sell Traveler’s Checks and maintain inventory logs.
• Prepare payroll deduction forms and net checks/ACH requests.
• Ensure compliance with BSA and CIP programs.
• Meet and achieve sales and service goals.
• Other duties as assigned.
