Job summary

Sun Community Federal Credit Union in Cathedral City, CA is seeking a full-time Teller to deliver exceptional member service while processing deposits, withdrawals, transfers and balance daily transactions. You will open/close terminals, balance at day end, handle payroll deductions, and ensure accuracy with CTR and BSA compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Teller policies and Credit Union operations.
• Ability to balance cash and detect discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Processes cash advances, cashiers’ checks, money orders, and related transactions.
• Disburses cash or checks to members in person, by phone, or by mail.
• Processes transfers and balance daily transactions.
• Opens and closes the teller terminal accounts and balances at end of day.
• Receives payroll deduction starts/stops/changes and records them.
• Ensures CTRs are completed when required and maintains accuracy.
• Maintains confidentiality of member information and cross-sells services.
