Maine Savings FCU is hiring a Teller for the Ellsworth location. You will assist members with financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments, while delivering professional service.

Hours are Mon–Fri 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sat 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.; occasional Saturdays may be required. The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and effective cross-selling within Maine Savings standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–12 months of similar experience.
• Ten-key calculator and keyboard by touch.
• Good with numbers and names; detail oriented.
• Strong interpersonal skills and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Process member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments and checks.
• Provide excellent member service per Maine Savings standards.
• Accurately balance cash drawer and daily transactions.
• Demonstrate product knowledge for cross-selling opportunities.
• Follow Teller Progression Plan for Teller 1; may work occasional Saturdays.
