Job summary

ACAC - Atlantic Coast Athletic Clubs in West Chester, PA is seeking a friendly front desk member services associate to greet guests, handle check-ins, answer calls, and guide members through programs.

You will maintain an organized desk, process POS transactions, and collaborate with staff to deliver an exceptional guest experience; prior cash handling and computers skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior customer service experience highly desired.
• Prior experience handling payments and cash registers.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests in a friendly manner.
• Check in members and guests accurately and quickly.
• Direct guests to the membership department for pricing and enrollment.
• Process enrollments in programs and events.
• Answer incoming calls clearly and promptly.
• Provide information about acac programs and registration.
• Maintain knowledge of programs, classes, and policies.
• Maintain an orderly, functional work area.

• Follow opening and closing procedures.

Serve as a knowledgeable and friendly initial point of contact, offering accurate information and a consistently positive guest experience at our member services desk

Essential functions

• Greet all members and guests in a friendly and courteous manner


• Check every member and guest in accurately and quickly


• Direct guests to the membership department for club pricing, costs and enrollment


• Manage member and guest enrollment in programs and events


• Answer incoming calls in a clear and friendly and expedient manner


• Provide information regarding acac programs and registration


• Maintain up to date knowledge of programs, classes and club operations, events, policies, etc.


• Maintain an orderly and highly functional work area


• Process POS transactions accurately and in an efficient manner


• Know and adhere to opening and closing procedures


• Collaborate with team members in the spirit of outstanding customer service, teamwork, and communication

Requirements

Physical demands

• Must be able to stand, move, walk, and bend for the duration of a shift


• Must have ability and willingness to work varied shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Required competencies, education, and experience

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
