Job summary

OnPoint Community Credit Union is seeking a friendly, outgoing member service representative to join our team in Lake Oswego. You will help members with everyday financial needs, provide sound advice, and support a collaborative branch environment.

The role involves opening accounts, handling loans and deposits, and contacting members to strengthen relationships with a focus on service excellence. A 1–2 year banking background and NMLS registration are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of previous financial institution experience preferred.
• NMLS registration required.

Responsibilities

• Proactively provides exceptional member service at the branch, greets members warmly and uses engaging, respectful communication.
• Opens new consumer and business accounts, fiduciary accounts, IRAs, CDs, checking and loans; focuses on retention and cross-sell opportunities.
• Listsens for clues, identifies cross-sell opportunities, processes transactions, and assists with documentation and loan maintenance.
• Performs account and loan maintenance, and supports submitting necessary documentation to complete transactions.
• Performs outbound calls to members to develop or retain lending and deposit relationships.
• Acts as liaison between members and off-site staff to resolve issues and complete forms.
