Job summary

Logan Health Medical Fitness Center seeks a PRN Member Services Representative to welcome members and guests, conduct tours, and connect individuals with programs that meet their wellness goals.

You will manage check-in, registrations, payments, data entry, and account updates, while delivering professional customer service and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two (2) years of customer service or administrative support experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to professionalism, confidentiality, and exceptional customer service.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and ability to learn department-specific software systems.
  • CPR certification within ninety (90) days of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Welcoming members, guests, and prospective members with exceptional customer service.
  • Conducting personalized tours and helping individuals identify programs, services, and membership options.
  • Promoting memberships, programs, and services by understanding and responding to the needs of each individual.
  • Performing member check-in, registration, and account maintenance activities.
  • Serving as a trusted resource for information regarding facility programs, services, and policies.
  • Responding to member and guest questions, concerns, and requests in a professional and timely manner.
  • Taking ownership of member concerns and following through to resolution.
  • Processing payments, point-of-sale transactions, and membership-related documentation accurately.
  • Supporting opening and closing procedures as assigned.
  • Maintaining accurate records, data entry, account updates, and membership information.
  • Managing specialty memberships, scholarship accounts, account changes, and related administrative processes.
  • Maintaining proficiency with member management software and other department systems.
  • Supporting a safe and welcoming environment by following established safety and emergency procedures.

What You'll Do

As a PRN Member Services Representative, you'll play an important role in supporting members and guests while helping promote the programs and services offered throughout the facility.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate or bachelor's degree
  • Two (2) years of experience working in a fitness, recreation, wellness, or health-related environment
  • Experience with membership services, customer accounts, sales, or front desk operations

Shift: Variable (United States of America) Schedule: This PRN position provides coverage as needed for vacations, leaves, and peak operational needs.

Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, is preferred.

PRN positions (also referred to as Casual, As Needed, or Per Diem) at Logan Health offer flexibility and are designed to provide coverage during busy periods, employee absences, and vacations, making them an excellent opportunity to support the team as needed. PRN employees can participate in a matching 401(k) plan and have access to the Employee Assistance Program. Additionally, they may qualify for hourly differential pay for certain shifts or hours, offering extra compensation based on department-specific scheduling needs. Pay rates and scheduling practices may vary by department.
