Job summary

Fitness Ventures LLC is seeking a Member Services Representative (MSR) to be the first and last friendly face for members at the Troutdale facility. You will greet guests, check in members, manage messages in club software, answer phones, and promote events while maintaining a welcoming environment.

You will also handle member service scheduling, process payments, and assist with retail sales, ensuring a clean, organized area and professional conduct at all times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR Certification (Child/Infant) required.
• Experience working with children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet all members and guests with a smile and farewell warmly.
• Check in members and guests per company procedures.
• Facilitate messages on club software at check-in.
• Answer phones in courteous, helpful, professional manner.
• Inform members of events and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
• Handle member requests or escalate to a manager.
• Sell retail products and schedule member services (tanning, hydro-massage).
• Ensure payment processing for member services per procedures.
• Keep the club area clean and organized.

The Member Services Representative (MSR) is the first and last interaction our members have at our facilities so they are the face of our operation! The MSR handles all preliminary guest questions and concerns and works to maintain a fun and supportive atmosphere for our members.

Expectations

• Greet all members & guests with a smile and wish them well as they exit the club
• Check in all members and guests in accordance with company procedures
• Facilitate any messages on club software at member check-in
• Answer phones in courteous, helpful, professional manner
• Communicate special events to members and guests
• Maintain an atmosphere, which makes members feel welcome
• Facilitate all member requests or forward to a manager
• Always maintain professional disposition
• Sell retail products
• Schedule member services: tanning, hydro-massage, etc.
• Facilitate payment of member services in accordance with company procedures
• Know club facility, services, and schedules
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist in all projects as delegated by club management
• Follow all policies and procedures in the Team Member Handbook

Requirements

• Obtain or maintain a valid Child/Infant CPR Certification
• Experience working with children
• Certifications, as local/state laws require

Physical Requirements

• Lift 10 lbs. on occasion
• Stand, bend and squat with frequency
• Climb and hang decorations when needed
