Job summary

Fitness Ventures LLC is seeking a friendly Member Services Representative to be the first and last face members see in our clubs. You will greet guests, check in members, answer phones, and relay messages using our club software.

Outreach includes selling retail products, scheduling tanning and hydro-massage services, processing payments, and keeping the front desk organized. A high school diploma and CPR certification are required, with eligibility to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the United States.
• Valid Child/Infant CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Greet all members and guests with a smile and exit warmly.
• Check in all members and guests per procedures.
• Answer phones in courteous, helpful, professional manner.
• Sell retail products.
• Schedule member services (e.g., tanning, hydro-massage).
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere and assist with member requests.
• Process payments for member services per procedures.
• Know club facilities, services, and schedules.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.

The Member Services Representative (MSR) is the first and last interaction our members have at our facilities so they are the face of our operation! The MSR handles all preliminary guest questions and concerns and works to maintain a fun and supportive atmosphere for our members.

Expectations

• Greet all members & guests with a smile and wish them well as they exit the club
• Check in all members and guests in accordance with company procedures
• Facilitate any messages on club software at member check-in
• Answer phones in courteous, helpful, professional manner
• Communicate special events to members and guests
• Maintain an atmosphere, which makes members feel welcome
• Facilitate all member requests or forward to a manager
• Always maintain professional disposition
• Sell retail products
• Schedule member services: tanning, hydro-massage, etc.
• Facilitate payment of member services in accordance with company procedures
• Know club facility, services, and schedules
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist in all projects as delegated by club management
• Follow all policies and procedures in the Team Member Handbook

Requirements

• Obtain or maintain a valid Child/Infant CPR Certification
• Experience working with children
• Certifications, as local/state laws require

Physical Requirements

• Lift 10 lbs. on occasion
• Stand, bend and squat with frequency
• Climb and hang decorations when needed

Employment Eligibility

Salary: $10.00/ hr
