Job summary

CRUNCH Fitness in Jurupa Valley, CA is seeking a friendly Member Services Representative (MSR). You are the first and last contact for members, greet guests, check in members, answer phones, and promote retail products.

You help maintain a welcoming atmosphere and ensure club services run smoothly. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and Child/Infant CPR certification, plus experience working with children.

Job description

The Member Services Representative (MSR) is the first and last interaction our members have at our facilities so they are the face of our operation! The MSR handles all preliminary guest questions and concerns and works to maintain a fun and supportive atmosphere for our members.

• Greet all members & guests with a smile and wish them well as they exit the club
• Check in all members and guests in accordance with company procedures
• Facilitate any messages on club software at member check‑in
• Answer phones in courteous, helpful, professional manner
• Communicate special events to members and guests
• Maintain an atmosphere, which makes members feel welcome
• Facilitate all member requests or forward to a manager
• Always maintain professional disposition
• Sell retail products
• Facilitate payment of member services in accordance with company procedures
• Know club facility, services, and schedules
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist in all projects as delegated by club management
• Follow all policies and procedures in the Team Member Handbook

Requirements

• Obtain or maintain a valid Child/Infant CPR Certification
• Experience working with children
• Certifications, as local/state laws require

Physical Requirements

• Lift 10 lbs. on occasion
• Stand, bend and squat with frequency
• Climb and hang decorations when needed
• All applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED). This requirement is in place to ensure that all employees have the basic level of education necessary to perform the duties of their roles effectively.
