The YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties is hiring a Member Services Representative in Bremerton, WA. This part-time role greets members and guests, delivers excellent customer service, and assists with basic membership transactions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of customer service, sales, or related experience (preferred).
• Strong customer service skills delivering a welcoming experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with computers and standard office equipment.
• Proactive, takes initiative and follows tasks through to completion.
• Diversity awareness and inclusive workplace experience.
• Must pass Background and Reference checks per WA State Fair Chance Act.
• Commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive environment.
• Able to complete online Child Abuse Prevention training on first day.

• Maintain good public relations with members and represent the best interests of the YMCA.
• Provide excellent service to members, guests, and program participants in the branch and on the phone, contributing to member retention.
• Greet and assist all members, potential members and staff in a courteous, professional and friendly manner.
• Assisting with basic membership transactions.
• Respond to members' needs; contact appropriate personnel when necessary and notify supervisor of unusual situations; handle complaints courteously.

Position: Member Services Representative

Wage: $17.51 to $20.70 per hour (Compensation is determined based on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications, with most new hires starting between the minimum and midpoint of the posted wage range)

Hours: Part-Time, Up to 25 hours per week

Location: Bremerton Family YMCA, Bremerton, WA

As a Member Services Representative, you are the friendly face that greets and welcomes members and guests to our Y facility. In this position, you will provide excellent customer service to our current members and potential members to ensure they have an enriching experience while visiting our Y. If you are passionate about helping others and being part of a vibrant community, this is the job for you.
