Job summary

YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties is seeking a part-time Member Services Lead in Puyallup, WA at Mel Korum Family YMCA. The role supports membership programs, enrollment processes, and daily facility operations, guiding other engagement staff.

Must have 3+ years of leadership in a customer service setting, strong written and verbal communication, and a proactive, diverse-friendly approach. Evening/weekend availability is required.

Job description

Wage: $ 18.87 to $21.69 per hour (Compensation is determined based on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications, with most new hires starting between the minimum and midpoint of the posted wage range)

Hours: Part-Time, Up to 25 hours per week, Weekdays 2:00PM to 10:00PM, Weekend availability required

Location: Mel Korum Family YMCA, Puyallup, WA

As a Member Services Lead, you will be responsible for playing an important role in connecting members with programs and activities that will help them achieve their goals. You will also assist people in the membership and program enrollment process and help oversee the daily functions of the facility/programs and provide leadership and guidance to other Member Engagement staff.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to pass Background and Reference checks (in accordance with the WA State Fair Chance Act).
• Committed to valuing and promoting diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.
• Able and willing to complete online Child Abuse Prevention training on first day, and other online and in-person training as required.
• Minimum of three years of leadership in customer service, sales or related environment.
• You know how to give great customer service in a fast-paced environment.

• You have excellent written and oral skills.
• You are comfortable with computers and office equipment.
• You are proactive and know how to get things done.
