Job Title: Member Services Rep - (Sub) at Excel Fitness

Responsibilities include:

1. Perform to your best abilities during your assigned work shift.
2. Monitor and maintain club cleanliness and atmosphere.
3. Stay proficient in Planet Fitness mobile app use, content, and updates.
4. Ensure all proper training has been completed to operate safely and efficiently.
5. Conduct regular audits to ensure the club is presentable and up to Excel standards.
6. Perform club walkarounds, complete cleaning tasks, and re-inspect them.
7. Audit and balance cash drawers daily.
8. Input and update member information into tablets and POS systems.
9. Ensure members adhere to policies, address infractions, and provide a safe environment.
10. Communicate effectively with members to deliver high-quality service.
11. Stock retail and janitorial items for the next shift.
12. Resolve day-to-day member issues and maintain inventory standards.
13. Participate in team meetings and promote the club to prospects.
14. Assist with membership promotions, training, and operational strategies.
15. Ensure compliance with legal and insurance requirements.
16. Operate and assist with amenities like tanning, HydroMassage, and Total Body Enhancement.
17. Represent the company at community events and outreach activities.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and AED certifications required before working alone; training available within 30 days if uncertified.
• Comfortable standing for long periods.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Team-oriented, motivated, organized, and proactive problem solver.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer use.
• Ability to handle sensitive information.
• Familiarity with Excel's mission and Planet Fitness brand.

Additional Details:

• No supervisory responsibilities.
• Work in a fitness club environment with standard office and custodial equipment.
• Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting up to 75 lbs, and visual acuity.
• Position can be full-time or part-time, with flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts.
