We are seeking a motivated Member Services Representative to join our team! BILINGUAL English/Spanish candidates are encouraged to apply. As a staff member, you will provide exceptional customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring an outstanding “Judgement Free” experience.

Responsibilities include:

1. Customer Service/Front Desk Activities:

• Greet members and guests, providing exceptional service and making everyone feel welcome.
• Answer phones politely and assist callers with inquiries.
• Check members in, tour, sign up new members, log amenities, and communicate updates and events.
• Respond promptly and professionally to member questions and concerns.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases via POS system.
• Assist with new membership cards, address changes, and billing questions using POS system.

Club Cleanliness and Maintenance:

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the front desk area and lobby.
• Perform regular cleaning of facilities, including equipment, restrooms, and common areas.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Applicants for overnight positions must pass a 7-year criminal background check within the first week of hire; continued employment depends on satisfactory results.
• Exceptional customer service skills and positive interactions with members and co-workers.
• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Upbeat, positive, and professional attitude.
• Punctuality and reliability are essential.
• Obtain and maintain CPR/AED certification as required.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to walk, stand, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Continuous talking and communication during shifts.
• Maintain ability to perform CPR if needed.
• Normal vision and hearing with or without correction.
