Responsibilities

• Perform to your best abilities during your assigned work shift.
• Monitor and maintain club cleanliness and atmosphere.
• Stay proficient in Planet Fitness mobile app use, content, and updates.
• Ensure all proper training has been completed to operate safely and efficiently.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure the club is presentable and up to standards.
• Perform club walkarounds, complete cleaning tasks, and re-inspect them.
• Audit and balance cash drawers daily.
• Input and update member information into tablets and POS systems.
• Ensure members adhere to policies and address infractions.
• Provide a safe environment for all members.
• Communicate effectively with members and provide high-level member service.
• Stock retail and janitorial items for the next shift.
• Resolve day-to-day member issues following company standards.
• Audit club inventory and communicate with GM, AM, and Shift Lead about inventory orders.
• Stay updated on certifications and training courses.
• Participate in team meetings.
• Promote and tour the club to prospects and potential members.
• Assist with membership promotions, training, and operational strategies.
• Ensure compliance with all laws and insurance requirements.
• Operate and assist with amenities like tanning, HydroMassage, and Total Body Enhancement, following procedures.
• Represent the company at community events and outreach activities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR and AED certifications required before working alone; training available within 30 days for uncertified team members.
• Comfortable standing for long periods.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Team-oriented, motivated, and organized.
• Critical thinking and proactive problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer use.
• Ability to handle sensitive/confidential information.
• Familiarity with the company's mission, values, and brand.
