Job summary

Planet Fitness-United Fitness Partners in Lubbock, TX is seeking a upbeat Member Services Representative to warmly greet members, assist with enrollments, and support daily club operations. You will work with a fun, high-energy team to maintain a clean facility, promote Black Card amenities, and help members achieve their fitness goals with a friendly, non-judgmental approach.

• Provide exceptional member service at the welcome desk.
• Assist with member enrollment and tours as needed.

• Keep the club clean and welcoming for all.
• Greet and bid farewell to members with a positive attitude.
• Support class sign-ups and member inquiries.
• Assist with daily club tasks and communications.
• Contribute to a fun, energetic team environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• High energy, positive member of the team providing members with an unprecedented experience and encouraging them in achieving their fitness goals.
• Ensure the club is super clean because members value this and we’re known for that.
• Finding new and current members to join the fitness trainer in fitness classes.
• Impress new and existing members by introducing them to Black Card amenities.
• Help the entire team at the welcome desk by checking in members while providing greetings and farewells, assisting with fun energetic, non‑high‑pressure tours, member enrollment, and other club responsibilities.
• Lead, be passionate, love what you do, have fun, and invite members to do the same.
• Work a schedule that varies; shift could involve any hours of operation, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Birthdate that confirms you are a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Passion for helping others.
• Understanding the physical demands may involve but are not limited to communicating, standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50lbs, reaching, climbing, balancing, kneeling and handling potentially hazardous chemicals.
• On‑time dependability because people are counting on you.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to occasionally lift, push, or pull at least 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, bend, balance, stoop, kneel, twist, or crouch.
